Concentrations
Students have the option of focusing their 3rd year curriculum in a
specific area of study, or concentration.
Concentrations are designed to familiarize a student with the problems
that might be encountered in a certain field of practice.
Every student at Cooley must complete 90 credit hours to graduate. Of
these, 63 credit hours are required courses, plus one upper level skills
class and the student’s choice of a clinical experience. These
required courses are designed to prepare students for bar exams and practice.
Students who elect to enter a concentration will be required to take
certain core courses, then choose from a menu of electives in the area.
