Many attorneys want business skills. Similarly. many business executives want a deeper knowledge of the law so that they can be even more successful in business. Individuals holding both a law degree and an MBA have a career edge over those just a single degree.
Cooley supplies students with the substantive knowledge, legal skills. and ethics needed for bar examinations. Students acquire an ethical framework that will guide them throughout their professional career. The curriculum prepares students for a successful entrance into the practice of law and places students in a position to excel in further graduate studies.
Western Michigan University's MBA program employs a cross-functional approach that will help the student develop the skills and abilities to make
and execute decisions in a dynamic marketplace, learn to manage change, and hone the ability to think critically in challenging situations. Western Michigan University's MBA program is nationally accredited by the AACSB.

If you see yourself
in a leadership role from serving the public through policy-making
to running a health care or nonprofit organization,
the clear track to success is through a joint degree in
public administration and the law.
Western Michigan University and Cooley offer a joint degree program that permits
students to acquire the new knowledge and skills, and
expedites completion of the requirements for both the MPA
