Cooley’s director of the Corporate Law and Finance graduate program receives the Champion of Justice Award
E. Christopher Johnson, director of Cooley's Corporate Law and Finance LL.M. program, recently received the Champion of Justice Award from the State Bar of Michigan (SBM) at the 2009 SBM Awards Banquet in Dearborn, Michigan. The award is given to no more than five practicing lawyers and judges each year who have been members of the SBM for at least 10 years, demonstrate integrity and adherence to the highest principles and traditions of the legal profession, possess superior professional competence and have made extraordinary professional contributions that benefit the nation, the state, or the local community in which they live.
