Michigan Supreme Court Justice Brian Zahra speaks at Cooley’s Auburn Hills campus
Michigan Supreme Court Justice Brian Zahra was the keynote speaker at the State Bar of Michigan's Professionalism in Action Orientation Program held at Cooley Law School's Auburn Hills campus on January 5, 2012. Justice Zahra spoke to incoming Cooley law students about the importance of ethics and professionalism in their legal careers and lives.

During the program, Judge Colleen O'Brian, Judge of the Oakland County Circuit Court, was presented with Cooley's Frederick J. Griffith III Adjunct Faculty Award. Caterina Amaro, a Cooley graduate, was presented with the school's Pro Bono Recognition Award. Amaro has donated countless hours of her time to Cooley's Immigration Outreach Pro Bono Project.
